Creating Course Home Pages

Overview

This step-by-step guide from the Office of Digital Instruction walks you through setting up a Canvas Home Page.

How-To-Guides

 

  1. Open Canvas

  2. Click on your course from the Dashboard

  3. Click  > Home in the Course Navigation menu

  4. Click > Edit in the top right section
  5. Update the default placeholders for Description, Faculty Contact Info, and Live Sessions if desired, or add your own content into the Rich Content Editor


     
  6. Click > Save
