Using Simple Syllabus in your Courses

1. Open Canvas
   
   
    
2. Click on your course from the Dashboard
   
   
   
    
3. Click Simple Syllabus in the Course Navigation menu
   
   
    
4. Select the area of the syllabus to edit. Note: Some sections of the syllabus may be locked by your department and cannot be edited. If you need changes made to these sections, please contact your department chair or faculty lead for assistance.
   
   
   
    
5. Click > The pencil Icon,  in red, to edit a section.
   
   
   
    
6. Click > Submit to save the changes
   
   
    
7. Students will see the syllabus under the Simple Syllabus link in the left navigation
