Frequently asked questions regarding linking McGraw Hill Connect Assignments to Canvas

How do I link my McGraw Hill Connect Assignments to Canvas?

1. Log in to Canvas and open your course.
2. Select > Modules from the course navigation.
3. Locate the module where you want the Connect assignment to appear.
4. Click the three-dot Options menu for the module.
5. Select > McGraw Hill Connect.
6. Click > Begin.
7. If prompted, sign in to your McGraw Hill Connect account.
8. Select > Pair with existing Connect course if your Connect course already exists.
9. Select the appropriate Connect course and click Select.
10. Click Go to Section Home.
11. Locate the Connect assignments you want to place in Canvas.
12. Select the assignment(s).
13. Choose Deploy.
14. Set the appropriate grade type if prompted:
    • Best
    • Last
    • Average
15. Click Deploy.

16. The assignments will be added to the Canvas module and the Assignments area. A corresponding Canvas Gradebook column is automatically created for each deployed assignment.

    Important: Keep deployed Connect assignments as graded assignments. McGraw Hill recommends not changing them to "Not Graded," because doing so can interfere with the connection to Connect.
