Overview
MetaHouse Metaversity is Morehouse College’s next-generation digital learning ecosystem. It integrates immersive technologies, artificial intelligence, and human-centered pedagogy to expand how teaching, learning, and scholarship are designed and delivered.
More than an online platform, the Metaversity represents an institutional shift toward experiential, inclusive, and future-ready education. It complements in-person instruction while enabling new modalities of engagement, research, and workforce preparation.

Purpose and Strategic Role
MetaHouse Metaversity advances the Morehouse mission by:
- Supporting innovative instructional models that blend physical, digital, and immersive learning
- Expanding access to experiential learning through XR, spatial computing, and AI-enabled tools
- Preparing students for emerging industries and digitally mediated workplaces
- Providing faculty with new capabilities for course design, assessment, and engagement

The Metaversity is designed to augment—not replace—faculty expertise and in-person learning, centering human agency, ethical technology use, and inclusive design.
