I am Interested in Federal Work-Study. What are the Eligibility Requirements?

To be eligible for the Federal Work-Study (FWS) Program at Morehouse College, students must meet the following requirements:

  1. Complete the FAFSA – You must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be considered.
  2. Demonstrate Financial Need – Eligibility is based on financial need as determined by your FAFSA and financial aid offer.
  3. Maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) – You must meet the academic standards defined by the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships.
  4. Be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident – Only citizens or eligible non-citizens can participate.
  5. Have a Verified Financial Aid File – Your financial aid file must be complete and verified by the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships.
  6. Receive an Approved FWS Award – You must have confirmation of a Federal Work-Study award included in your financial aid offer.
