I need information about the HOPE/Zell Miller Scholarship Eligibility

HOPE Scholarship

Purpose: Provides tuition assistance to Georgia residents attending eligible colleges/universities.

Eligibility:

  • Georgia residency and U.S. citizenship/eligible non-citizen.
  • Graduate from an eligible high school with a minimum 3.0 HOPE GPA.
  • Complete required rigor courses.

Award: Covers partial tuition at public institutions and a set amount at private institutions.
Maintenance: Must maintain a 3.0 GPA in college.
Limits: Up to 127 attempted credit hours or 10 years after high school graduation.


Zell Miller Scholarship

Purpose: Offers full tuition coverage at public institutions for Georgia residents.

Eligibility:

  • Graduate as valedictorian/salutatorian, OR
  • Graduate with 3.7 GPA AND 1200 SAT or 26 ACT (single sitting).
  • Complete required rigor courses.

Award: Full tuition at public institutions; set amount at private institutions.
Maintenance: Must maintain a 3.3 GPA in college.
Limits: Same as HOPE (127 credit hours or 10 years post-graduation).
