My Parent was denied the Parent PLUS loan. What are my next options?

If your parent’s application for a PLUS Loan is denied, they have the option to appeal the credit decision with the U.S. Department of Education. If they choose to appeal, they must secure an endorser and then reapply for the loan.

If your parent decides not to reapply, you (the student) will be offered an additional Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loan, which you must accept through your award letter in BannerWeb.
