Service Overview
Use this service to request an excused absence if you are unable to attend class because of an ongoing physical medical condition for which you are receiving continuous treatment from a licensed physician. Examples include, but are not limited to, asthma, sickle cell disease, arthritis, diabetes, and other chronic medical conditions.
You may submit your request before obtaining supporting documentation. If documentation is not available at the time of submission, you may provide it during the review process. Requests cannot be approved until all required documentation has been received.
This category also includes conditions documented through the Office of Educational Accessibility (OEA). If applicable, please include supporting documentation with your request when it becomes available.
Submission of a request does not guarantee approval. All requests are reviewed in accordance with the Morehouse College Class Attendance Policy.
