Service Overview
Use this service if you are requesting an absence due to a scheduled interview for a future internship, graduate school admission, or employment opportunity.
Official supporting documentation is required at the time of submission. Documentation should verify the date, time, and purpose of the interview.
Under the Morehouse College Class Attendance Policy, internship, graduate school, and employment interviews are not identified as reasons that may be considered for an official class excuse. Students requesting an absence for one of these reasons should be aware that these requests are generally not eligible for an excused absence and should plan to use one of their available unexcused absences, as permitted by College policy.
Submission of a request does not guarantee approval. All requests are reviewed in accordance with the Morehouse College Class Attendance Policy.
