Service Overview
Use this service to request an absence if you are unable to attend class due to a significant travel disruption caused by weather or transportation delays.
Qualifying circumstances may include flight delays or cancellations, bus delays, train delays, or other significant travel interruptions beyond your control.
Supporting documentation is required at the time of submission. Documentation should verify the nature of the travel disruption and may include information from an airline, bus or rail carrier, or other official transportation provider.
Submission of a request does not guarantee approval. All requests are reviewed in accordance with the Morehouse College Class Attendance Policy.

- Weather-related travel disruptions
- Other significant travel interruptions supported by official documentation
Before You Submit
Before submitting your request, please ensure that you:
- Submit your request within five (5) calendar days of the absence.
- Upload all required supporting documentation with your request.
- Ensure your documentation supports the reason for your absence.
- Have not already submitted a request for the same absence.
- Understand that submission of a request does not guarantee approval and that this absence category is generally not considered eligible for an official class excuse under the Morehouse College Class Attendance Policy.
Important: Do not upload photographs containing injuries, blood, bodily fluids, or restroom-related images. Requests containing inappropriate images may be denied.
