Overview
If you've forgotten your Okta password or need to reset it for any reason, follow these quick steps to securely regain access to your account. The process is simple and can be completed using your email, Okta Verify app, or Google Authenticator. Once verified, you’ll be able to set a new password and log back in to access your Morehouse College services.
Instructions
1. Go to the Okta Sign-In Page
Visit myportal.morehouse.edu.
2. Click "Forgot password?"
Select “Forgot password?” (or “Need help signing in?” → “Forgot password?”) on the login screen.
3. Choose a Reset Method
Select how you want to receive the reset code or link:

Email – A reset link will be sent to your primary and secondary email.

Okta Verify – Approve the push notification from the app.

Google Authenticator – Use the verification code from the app.
4. Verify Your Identity
Enter the code from your chosen method or approve the push notification.
5. Set a New Password
Create a new password that meets complexity requirements.
6. Confirm and Reset
Re-enter your new password and click Reset Password.
7. Sign In
Log in with your new password to access your account and services.
Troubleshooting
If you are still experiencing issues resetting your password, please submit a ticket by visiting the Password Reset page and selecting Request Service.
