Overview
Report suspected phishing or spam emails to help protect the campus from email-based threats and safeguard sensitive information:
- If the email is simply unwanted advertising (spam), report it as Junk.
- If the email is trying to trick you into giving away information, money, or access, report it as Phishing using the Phish Alert Button.
What's the Difference?
Spam is annoying. Phishing is dangerous.
- Spam = Unwanted advertisements and promotional emails.
- Phishing = Fraudulent emails designed to trick you into revealing information, sending money, or installing malware.
